Countdown to QB Convention 2019
This retreat for Queensland Baptists’ Pastors’ and Spouses’ and their families. Convention commences on Tuesday evening at 6pm, 9th April 2019 and concludes on Friday 12th April 2019. It features sessions with guest speaker (Daniel Bullock), elective sessions, time for prayer and networking, and fun for the whole family!
ABOUT THE KEY SPEAKER
This is a FREE Dinner for Pastor's, Spouses and Children. This year we will be dining under the stars in the Triballink centre.
Children aged 8 and over will enjoy dinner by the pool, supervised by QCCC staff. Children aged 7 and under will be part of the "Stars Group", and enjoy dinner at Letham Lodge with the QB Kids and their families Leadership Group.
Triballink Activity Centre is an educational precinct set aside for experiential Outdoor Education focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture and Environmental Sustainability. Operating out of an undercover auditorium capable of seating up to 200 people, the Triballink Centres offers amazing experiences of indigenous culture.

Guest Speaker: Triballink Traditional Indigenous Entertainment (Dance Troupe / Story Telling)
Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Beverages (water, barista coffee and tea). This is a FREE event, and all are welcome. This day is included in your convention registration. If you ONLY want to attend Friday as a delegate or non-delegate, click on the button below to register just for this day.
The Leadership day program is open to all – members of Assembly especially, as well as other interested members of the Baptist family.
The Annual Assembly is chaired by the Chair of the Board, or another Member of Assembly appointed by the Board, should the Chair be unavailable for the Annual Assembly.
Only the persons whose names are entered on the roll of Members of Assembly will be entitled to speak or vote at meetings of the Assembly.

It is important to bear in mind that registered pastors are automatically members of Assembly and do not need to be appointed as delegates of their church.
Delegates must be appointed by their church – generally through a members meeting – be members of that church and be baptised by immersion. The names of the delegates must be advised to QB in writing by the Secretary.

Please note you will need to bring your own linen (sheets, pillow, blanket and towels) If you would prefer, QCCC can organise a linen pack for $35 per person.

Please note: There are no caravan or camping spaces available on-site at QCCC.
